A trip to Lake Michigan

After a much-needed life break from blogging, we're back in action. We took a trip with our people a few weeks ago to visit Grandpa and Grandma T. in Michigan.

We had a great time hanging out with them and even took a road trip to Grand Haven to see the Big Lake and put our paws in the sand. Cousin Kathy came along with us and took a ton of pictures to capture the fun. KC had been boating before when she lived in Michigan...but we'd never seen the Big Lake or that much sand. It was a great day with our peeps and a fun chance for them to get back to one of their favorite places on the planet.

Grandpa and Grandma were really excited to see us again - it had been six months since our last hug-and-snuggle fest with them in the Lou. Staying with them takes a bit more planning when it's time to go outside - leashes required so we don't run rampant in the condo complex. (Shh...don't tell the Board we were there. It's our little secret.)

So, with a week of QFT with the G-rents, we were ready to head home. We survived a long road trip with lots of pit stops and plenty of interesting smells along the way. Five hundred miles later, we were back at our house and running around the backyard - leash free. Yippee!

Until the next post, KC & Jeni
